My son and I went to play Saturday and Sunday at the city park course. It was rough! On Saturday I shot a 94 and Sunday I just quit keeping score because it was making me sick!
The hard part about this golf course is all of the elevation. This is really the only hilly area that we have. It makes it really fun but its so hard to figure out the distance when you are shooting so far uphill or downhill.
For instance, on hole 7 (I think) the green fee is about 30 vertical yards downhill. You think that you need to hit a 7 iron when you're 140 out, but you really just need an easy 8. It takes a lot of getting used to.
I have been thinking about getting some new wedges to help me out. Maybe a new ultra lob wedge?
